School Supply Cake

This past week, I spent at in-service preparing for the upcoming school year. At in-service, I was the lucky winner of this super cute "School Supply Cake". I won it at a teacher luncheon hosted by our PTA.

I have been asked if I am going to take it a part. The answer is "NO!" It is going to be a permanent classroom decoration! Check it out! Great idea for a teacher gift!

How is it made? Well, I asked the parents that made it and this is what I was able to decipher.....

It was made with a paper towel center with all the supplies layered around it. Clear packaging tape is holding it together with ribbon layered on top to hide the tape.
